Please Read!!!! Big Question!!!
This is the biggest question i have...... we always talk about it, but no-one really knows the advantage of a Lightweight flywheel........ what does it do??? other then rev faster........ does your Q/M time get a little better and if yes by how much with stock engine?? does it put more horsepower to the wheels??? does it give you more torque?? what does it do????????............... sorry for posting this, i know theirs more posts about this, but we always talk about yea its better, but what are the reasons??!!!
What a loser.

dont beat on the guy like that...
the purpose of a lightened flywheel is so that it will rev up fast each and every gear, same goes for knife edging your cank... everything that you lightened on the bottom end,(pulley,crank,flywheel..etc...) will rev faster....

lightend flywheel, like lightening any other part of the drivetrain will yield faster reving, better response, less spool time for turboed cars, and generally a faster car.
faster revs= faster shifts = less time to get to top speed = lower 1/4 mile time.
nothing magical about it.

It also takes away from the motors low-end inertia. Can kill a car running a/c and power steering.
It's a cool investment, I like them, but i don't like what it did to my daily driver civic.
