Default 2004 Accord V6 problem with sensors

I have a 2004 accord v6. My traction control lights comes on randomly and doesn't allow the car go above 3 rpms. I been doing research and some say the throttle positioning sensor needs to be replace or the acceleration pedal sensor needs to replace. Does anyone know which one is it?

Without codes or testing.....your guess is as good as anyone elses.

Heck, replace all of the wheel sensors while you are at it.

P2318 is for an ignition coil, just don't see that in my manual for the Accord though.

For the TCS indicator issue, if it is ABS/TCS component related, you may need a scanner/reader that can also read Honda ABS trouble codes.

Sorry if this is too old to bring back up again, but I hate unresolved threads.

I suspect the OP suffered from dyslexia and/or mushy fingers and meant to type P2138 as the code (not P2318).

P2138 is the accelerator pedal position sensor code. My '04 went through this a few months ago. It would go into limp mode, the accelerator pedal was just a little off in its response, the CEL/ABS/TCS lights would come on. I drove it like that for a few months randomly and got by with just restarting the car whenever limp mode would hit. A quick restart would usually fix things for at least a few miles. Eventually, I got sick of it and replaced the sensor. I went OEM through majestic Honda, bought the entire assembly together (part 37971-RCA-A01). It's a simple bolt on.
