1995 EG8 Build
I bought this turd for 350 from some dumb private on base. Original intentions were to track it so I dont **** up my WRX but now I'm considering making it a backup vehicle. My goal is to have it done by summer before I deploy. It'll take a while, only getting E-2 pay lol but I'm gonna take my time. I've done swaps and I'm not new to Hondas but this will be my guinea pig to learn on. First is to de-rice it, strip it and start with body work and paint

Whether or not I build a dedicated auto-x/track car or backup vehicle, plans so far are as follows:
Strip completely
Body work
Tacticool flat tan paint
OEM bumper, fenders, lights, hood
Suspension
Wheels
Rebuild the z6 (kid didnt know whats wrong and its not cranking over)
Auto-Manual conversion

Its been a pain working on this thing lately because of work but got this thing stripped down almost to where I want it.
So far, my plans for this thing are leaning more towards a backup/occasional track day vehicle. My wife daily's a 1500 Silverado which isnt great on gas, so I want it to be comfortable enough for her to drive, decent enough to have fun at a track day, and be there if one of our main vehicles goes down.
This is how it sits as of now:

Uh oh, little bit of rust:

Rust is being tackled after Christmas when I get my welder up here
Lastly, I have a buddy with a lot of the parts I need to do the manual conversion, so while the engine/tranny are out I'll be painting the pay and prepping it for the manual conversion.

Political views aside:
1. Nice avatar, it makes me LOL
2. Sweet WRX
3. Great buy on that civic. That Wings West front bumper just needs some friends (side skirts and rear bumper) and the car would actually look very period correct. At least it's not the Aggressor kit; those are silly looking.
