What's up ht... I'm having a problem with my cooling system on my b20vtec.
The coolant system seems to be pressurizing, after running it or awhile. The hoses are Rock hard. And its releasing coolant out the cap but not alot. The resvior goes up and down... So I add antifreeze... I blew the headgasket a few weeks ago.. So I replaced it with a oem one. I also replaced the t-stat as well. I tried flushing the oil out the cooling system with water... But it's not working. Idk if that's the reason or what. I bled the system already. I know i need to flush it out.. It's just been way too cold outside. I'm hoping its not the headgasket because I really can't afford to tear the head off again. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry I'm all over the place my phone keeps freezing..

Also what would be the best way to get this damn oil out the cooling system? Every time i tried with a garden hose the oil globes up and won't come out.
First replace the radiator cap.
Bought a cooling system flush and run it into your system and follow the instructions. There are several brands in AutoZone.
Also if you not sure, perform a leak down test to verify you not have head gasket issues again.
We use H-7 Degreaser with water to flush the systems.

Thanks for the reply Carlos. Where can I get h7 from? I never heard of it..
I flushed the system today with water and alot of the milky crap came out!
I removed the thermostat this time so I can flush.. Then the dumb gasket won't
Go back in. its stretched. So I left it out. I'm going to buy one tomorrow. Now that it's out the hoses are fine.. You think the thermostat is bad ? It's only a few weeks old. It was covered in the milky **** when I took it out could that clog it?

H-7 it's a heavy duty degreaser that is sale in the mayor of the auto parts here. I think is a local brand for automotive use.
For the thermostat clean it and boil it, check if it open when the water boil.
For the flush ask for a good one in Pepboys i.e. Prestone radiator flush.
