There is a pristine condition 99 CL coupe interior in leather at the local junk yard and I was wondering if it would be possible to swap those seats for the ones in my 96 accord.
Is the carpet close to matching as well? I whish I could swap the whole thing, it's so much nicer.
I am going there this weekend and swap seats with a 96 accord in the yard see what happens.

Once by accident I pulled the seat from a Gen 6 Accord and tried to fit it into my Gen 5. the mounts were close to fitting and with a little work I could have done it. The CL may be the same as the Gen 6.
CL's are closer to the 5th gen chassis though. At least from what I've observed chassis (specifically metal portions in the engine bay) wise.
the CL interior is drop in fit for a 94-97 coupe. the difference is the clip on the seat harness.
the rug fits coupe and sedan
if u have a coupe and u plan on using the door panels u need to grab the rods that connect to the lever to open the door and the open/lock thingy.
it looks great in a CD. i have mine in but i need to wire up my driver seat so i can get the rear bolts onto the floor
forget the dash, CL has digital climate control and that is a nightmare of an electrical job to do. it has been done but i dont think its worth it. just use SEM paint on ur current dash and color match it.
i plan to use multiple layers of plastidip on my dash.
if anyone knows how to wire up the drivers side seat LMK cause i would really like to get the seat bolted down.

I am taking the rug and seats... if they are still there this weekend.
That interior was as good as new.
Thank you for the info.

I was going to install the full power seats from a V6, but I got to thinking about all that weight and the fact that I never adjust the seat, so the power seat is still in the storage unit.
i would take pics of my interior but i am not done with the panels and headliner. plus its to damn cold to work on it. but once it gets warmer i'll install everything and snap a few pics.
about the seats, some are full power with heated seats which happen to be the ones i picked up. these are heavy!!!

I took a 3.0 motor out of a 99 accord and dropped it into a 99 cl. It did fit, and i know this has nothign to do with seats, but lots of little things didnt quite fit, motor mounts etc. Really weird how honda did this, made two almost identical cars, with slightly different specs.
