Suspension problem... Suggestions please!
Hello guys/gals!
Im looking to get some tips on a suspension setup. Basically I have some aftermarket wheels (tires are 195/50/15) with a 10mm offset that stick out a little past the fenders on my 95 civic dx.
I had the eibach sportline springs on which lowered my car to a perfect height. Unfortunately the springs were not stiff enough so my tires rubbed like CRAZY! Almost every single bump. So i put the O.E springs back on to save my tires, occasionally they rub too but only on REALLY big bumps. Definitely drivable though.
I've been looking at Progress CS II coilovers and would buy them since you can get custom spring rates.
Now all that being said, would these coilovers solve that rubbing problem, considering I pick a stiffer spring rate??
All opinions, suggestions, comments welcome.
Just wanna solve this suspension issue once and for all, its driving me NUTS!!
P.S Ive seen people slam their cars wayyy lower than what I want and have like 1-2 cm gap between their fender plus run on 0 offset wheels. How do they pull it off???

First off......have you rolled your fenders? If not, do that first. That should eliminate a good amount of your rubbing.
Besides Progress, look into Koni/GC. Around $800, but you get damping adjustment, wayyyy more spring options, and a lifetime warranty.
Also, if you lower it more, you will naturally increase the camber, which will help fit the wheels better. You can also get a camber kit to add more camber if need be.
