Default Weird Idle after rebuild

Hey HTers, need some help here. Here is all relevant info about the build:

LS/V
ITR Cams
Buddy Club Cam Gears
LS Rods
ITR Pistons
Stock Injectors
Fuel Rail
B&M FPR
Dual Valve Springs
Titanium Retainers
Skunk Pro Intake Manifold

Recentely installed the cam gears and cams. Changed the HG and timing belt. Added the fuel rail and FPR. Started it up after fixing a bad ICM in the dizzy and here is what is happening:

Idles at like 2300 RPM even after warmed up. When I press the gas, it will drop almost to normal then back to 2300 or so. When I plug the FIT and IACV holes inside of the TB, will drop to 2000 RPM. Tried another ECU and no change. Throwing no CELs and everything else looks and sounds normal with the exception of that.

Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Vaccum leak possibly.

Spray water around all vaccum hoses and around intaje manifold to cylinder head mating areas.

Thanks, ill check it out. I have heard people use carb cleaner, is that better than water?

Water is good enough since its no combustable.

The engine will stumble if theres a leak.

Carb cleaner will work but ive seen it go wrong due toan arcking plug wire

Soapy water wont help.

You want soapy water to find positive pressure leaks. Like a tire.

Vaccum wont make it bubble.

Got it! Didn't think about that. So as the little bit of water gets sucked in the motor will stumble a little?

I'd check for a vacuum leak also, but you may be running rich too. try a fuel cleaner and make sure the idle adjustment is set correctly. check chilton for specs

Well, like an idiot, it seems like I had the MAP and TPS plugs backwards. After switching these I have a 750 idle but it is weird. Here is what I am experiencing:

1. Rough idle
2. Bogs when revving
3. White strong smelling exhaust (LOTS!!)
4. Fuel Pressure gauge shows like 80PSI!
5. B&M FPR won't adjust

So, I assume the rich condition is causing the weird idle, bogging, and exhaust. Could my B&M FPR be stuck open? When I try to adjust, nothing changes. First start up with this setup by the way.

I would try putting a stock fpr on there. If it changes then you know it is a bad fpr.
