ok so my battery started dying little by little all the lights started to dim, i had same problem a month a go.

i came to the conclusion that the alternator might be going bad, i decided to come straight home after school and change it. But my father was home and he thought he could solve the problem.

he kept making me crank the car thinking he could HEAR the problem until i suddenly heard something blow or something and now my car doesn't even turn on.

before it cranked at least and the lights on the dash board turned ON and now it doesn't even do THAT.

i changed the alternator and charged the battery to full...but i turn the key and nothing comes on...no lights...no sound...NADA.

Help me out people what could it be? i have finals for college this week and i need my car.

 

Have you checked all fuses?

 

yup, checked all the colored fuses and there all good....

 

Is your main relay clicking at all when turning the key to the on position?

 

are you sure you checked ALL the fuses? both under the dash and under the hood? sometimes just looking at them won't show if they are bad. Might need a multimeter to test them all.

Can you push - start the car? What about your starter?

 

nope none of that.

what about my starter?
nothing seems wrong there.
