Default 92 Gsr Eg Opinions??

Hey all, this is my first post here on Honda Tech! I will do an introduction as soon as i have some time to take some pics. But in the mean time,
Im looking for some opinions on the route to take my new hatch. Here is what im looking at and what i have on it now.

92 Eg6 si hatch.

GSR B18c1 swap, ITR interals, Ported and Polished head, Arp head studs/rod bolts, ITR LSD tranny, ITR IM.

This my DD so im not looking to go crazy.

Here is what im thinking of getting:

DC Header, 4-2-1
JDM Whale ***** intake
Buddy Club Cams and Cam gears

I know its not a whole lot but should make a difference, also might go boost but kinda torn between that since it is my daily.

Let me know what you think or if i should go a different route.

Thanks guys

The whale dick is more for looks. There is little to gain from it power wise. Same goes for the dc header. Take a look at some of the plm headers from the vendors On here. I have a pl hytech on my gsr swapped hatch and love it. Good groung clearance and good construction for a knock off. I have a ITR stock air box and 3" intake tube on my car and prefer it over the Sri and cai I had. There is less rasp in the exhaust now due to the current intake.

just my opinion, If you not have already the GSR motor, Buy straight a C5 or
B18C-R swap.

Bought alone the R tranny and Motor internals plus installation and hardware it's a lot of job and money. This is always you perform the job if not this is other story.

For DD the R head, cams and header are more than enough with a good tune for street business.

My opinion!!

overall its a good set up. im running a similar set up; s2s1 cams&gears, itr tranny, p73 pistons. took it to sac race way before i installed the itr tranny ran 14.0. it has good powerband. not too crazy. just fast enough to run with evos, wrx and cameros and chargers.

theres always room for improvement but youre headed the right way.

Not to be a dick but if thieves want what you have they will take it. Good to see that you are taking precautions but be safe were you park it.

that DC header is just for the guys who have to deal with SMOG in cali it's just a jdm itr knock off. As for the whale dick I have it yah kinda more for looks and sound lol it's seriously loud for an intake tho. s300 is a nice thing to have even if it's just a DD one of the first things I bough for my then dd integra.

All that being said, OP, don't be scared of boost. With your current setup, you could easily and safely toss a GT28 or GT30 on that, run a stock wastegate, and make more power than you'll probably know what to do with.

With a proper garage and other precautions your car is pretty much not steal-able. That being said nothing is 100%, but like you also said it is about making it harder to steal.
