93 Del Sol Windshield Wipers suddenly slow?
The wife got home after and was complaining about the wipers acting up and going super slow.
1993 DelSol V-tech with abut 136,000 miles. We bought the car used and the wipers have acted perfect till this point.
She said it was a decent rain and then it slowed and she turned off the wipers for a second. When she turned them back on they were going SUPER SLOW. Fast was the speed of the low setting, maybe even slower. Slow was just barely moving. The switch selections seem to be initiating the proper function, just the wipers are moving much slower then usual. She noticed no odd smells or noises. Also of note: She is not the typical oblivious car owner. She notices even the slightest hint something is not normal in a car.
I had searched a bit, but begin at work I can't look as hard as I would like. But in looking in a quick search I did not see anything that match the symptoms. But I just could have not searched deep enough.
Is a overall slowing of the wiper function typically a wiper motor going out? Maybe a ground issue at the motor or dirty motor connection? Is it a potentially dirty switch? I don't want to just start throwing cash at it replacing parts if there might be a simple thing amiss.
Any guidence as to where to look first? Also is there a write up on replacing the wiper motor? Still pretty new to this car and learning...
Thank you!

ALRIGHT EVERYBODY!!! TIME TO PULL OUT YOUR MULTIMETERS AND 10MM WRENCHES! WE ARE GONNA HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC DAY OF FUN!!!
OP get your multimeter out and check the voltage at the terminals of the motor. And the resistance. Post up results here.
