Wheel Painting suggestions?
hey guys im looking to get some tips on painting wheels. I would like to paint them myself since that would be a cheaper alternative for me.
Basically what I have currently are some aftermarket aluminum wheels, they have sort of a stock look and i want to paint them glossy beige to go along with my white civic.
Any suggestions/tips on how to approach this would be greatly appreciated!

Use some spray on paint remover if they have paint on them already. Then use degreaser and get them clean. Rinse with just water to get the degreaser off. Let them dry. Use a micro fiber cloth to wipe them clean after they have dried. Tape them off. Use quality spray paint or platic dip if you know how to do that. Light coats. Then use a spray on clear coat, again, light coats. Let them dry and cure for a couple days. Shouldn't wash them for a couple weeks or something like that, but you're done at this point.
If the wheels aren't scratch or have any chips, then you can simple sand them using a 800 grid paper. Then you can spray white primer since you are painting them a light color. This will help you to have a more uniform color instead of having a "patchy" wheel. Apply clear coat once the beige color has dry and wait a day or two to move them back on. If your not taking the tires off then you will need to cover them up.
Im assuming you know how to clean the wheels and get the grease off. If your wheels are too scratch or have curb rash you will need to get a lower grid paper to get rid of the damage. If you want to take off the original paint then do what Freemananana suggested.
