Ok so I just swapped a 00-01 ITR cluster into my 95 GSR. It has an obd-1 backing but I wanted to keep the 98-01 style placement of the dummy lights, so I decided to repin the cluster harness.

I got everything in the perfect spot, however the door ajar light is reversed ONLY with the ignition off (stays on with door closed, turns on when door opens) with the ignition on it works properly.

This was a simple 3 pin swap, I have no idea why the lights stays on with the ignition off... Anyone have any ideas?

 

If you don't find an answer in here, try a more appropriate forum, such as misc/tech or even lighting forum. It sounds like you made a petty mistake somewhere during your wiring that you're not seeing.
