sup H.T. i need some tips on removing and installing my D motor in my eg.
the motor originally vx motor. it has alot of milage and im swapping in a rebuild vitara d16z6 motor.
what are some tips to remove the motor.
do i jack and put jackstands on the front of the car only?
i have a hoist with a engine leveler with 2 chains. whats the best place to mount the 2 chains to the engine.
do i have to remove the pulley in order to remove the motor? i don't want to remove the pulley also if installing the engine because its already and i don't want to F**k with the pulley bolts anymore. timing etc is already good.
this guy told me i need to remove the pulley and this other guy told me i don't need to remove it.
i assume this motor swap should be an easy R&R thing but i need some tips before i will dig in the project.
also my question is that do i need to convert the vx wiring harness o2 sensor if i do the swap? vx 5 wire to 4 wire? necessary.
