just picked up a 96 civic so its time to join ive mostly been a subaru guy for the last 6 years but im glad to get into a new daily/project

its a stock unmolested 96 civic dx coupe 5 speed one owner and 215k on it

i dont have huge plans for the civic im just gunna clean it up and drop in a simple swap of some nature .... basically i want a clean simple build that i can take to the track on weekends and enjoy running mediocre times on lol my subaru has been an over the top work in progress for a long time now so im looking forward to the honda to keep things fun

anyways if anybody feels like telling me the simplest swap with the most potential lol please feel free to chime in i have no clue what direction im going in with this civic

also do hondas have the dont cross this numbers for power what not to pass? ive gone through 2 motors within the last year in my subaru so id like to plan the honda out for longevity .... worth boosting a stock block or should i just keep it simple with an na build... all opinions are welcome i feel like transferring to honda i have to learn everything all over again lol
