Default 90 civic wagon steering noise

So this isn't the normal squeaking noise coming from the steering wheel.
The noise I'm getting comes from very low steering column area. Like maybe right where it attaches to the steering rack..?
Definitely seems like it's only on the driver side too.
And it isn't when I'm turning. It's when I'm just driving STRAIGHT.
And doesn't happen at idle.
Driver side axle has been replaced. The boots were ripped and bearing were dry. Passenger side looked ok.
Anyone had any experience with this?

Ok so I still have this mysterious noise!
Here is a list of everything I have replaced:

Both CV axles
Both front wheel bearings

"The noise I'm getting comes from very low steering column area. Like maybe right where it attaches to the steering rack..?"
It's really hard to explain....
"Have you ever experienced a weird squeaky noise at the steering wheel just when turning it?
It's kinda like that noise but it's not a result of just turning the steering wheel."
Does that make any sense?
Any ideas on this. Please chime in.

have you thought about taking the cover off the column and greasing it? also how are your inner tie rods? does the wagon have power steering?

I agree with the above comment. I had a similar noise coming from my steering wheel column, kinda like a squeeking and scraping noise. I pulled off my steering wheel and regreased the metal ring and the horn contact. No more noise since then.

First off...Thank you guys for your replies and interest in helping me!
I have not checked the inner tie rods.
I guess I haven't been very direct or I've given misinformation.

I don't believe the noise is "in" the steering.
I did mention that it comes up through the steering column. But it is a moving/SPINNING part I think.
I thought at one point today that it was maybe a belt. Power steering or other. Because it seems to be worse in wet conditions.(It was raining today)
But......I ruled that out when the noise always stopped when the car slowed to a stop.
I'm pertty sure it is in the suspension.
With that said here is a video I took on the way home from work today.
You can pretty well hear the distinct noise in question...

something is rubbing.

check brake dust shield
check brake caliper slides, make sure it's doing what it's supposed to be doing
check the brake caliper it self. make sure the brake piston is working
check to see if the outter cv boot is rubbing on the shock fork
....
is your car lowered?

can't rule out power steering... you never know
