To those who have done shave/tucks on EJ's, quick question.
My car is a 99 dx hatch civic.
What I wanna know is when tuckng the bay and removing sensors etc, what did you do with the metal hard line that goes into the purge canister? It's the line on the firewall that leads to the oval canister box just below the battery slightly to the right. This line leads to the fuel tank I believe.
Can I remove it entirely or cut it further down and plug it up? I'm running obd1 and took all that emissions crap out.

I took my whole charcoal canister out when doing my tuck . I just cut back and plugged any lines coming from the tank. then capped the vacuum lines from the manifold. if u do no cap that line coming from the tank your fuel vapors from the tank will just run out that hose and if it sits long enough u will see ur gas go down(evaporate) without even driving it.
Yeah I got rid of everything there except the line. I have it capped atm. I'm thinking just cut it down low and cap it off.
iirc people were cutting them down by the tank and running the hose down the trailing arm a little. check the shaved bay thread, and ask a few people in there, I know I've seen what you're asking its just been a while.
