Default Bogging issue with 94 LS

Hey everyone this is my first post so bare with me. I'm having a bogging problem with my 94 LS. When I start driving the car it'll bog within the first 5 minutes. I'll hit 2500 rpms then the car starts bogging and slows down as if its about to shut down. When I come to a complete stop the rpms drop to 100 rpms then it will jump up to 900 and drop down again then it evens out around 650 rpms. If I get on the freeway and go past 65 mph i'll get a check engine light which reads "43" fuel supply system. I've changed the spark plugs, valve cover gasket, and the fuel filter. Does anyone have any ideas. Any input would really be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Sounds like ur fuel pump about to go out. If u don't hear a whirring noise for 2-3 seconds when u turn ur ignition to the 2nd click then u need to replace ur pump

Sounds like fuel pump on its way out.

Do a fuel pressure test i think it should be 43 psi. Idk remember.

Drop in a walbro 255 just in case you do any mods later on down the road, theyre like 120

I bought the car when it had been sitting for months cause the motor was blown could that have been the reason it went bad?

Probably time to change out the fuel pump.

But first thing u can do is siphon all the old gas that u had sittin for months and put good clean gas in with some fuel system bottle cleaner to clean all that gunk on the injectors and see if that works, if not then I would look into a fuel pump.

I have the same issue in my 95 LS. Changed the plugs, wires, fuel filter. Havent gotten around to doing the fuel pump just yet. That will be next on the list probably after the holidays. Vegas, not sure if you have replaced your pump yet, but if you have did it resolve your issue?
