Default HFL and Battery

I own a 2011 Accord EX-L with 41K miles. The HFL unit stopped working around 38K miles. Had the oil changed this weekend and they told me the battery was weak (11.88V & 248 CCA from a 410 CCA rated battery).

Curious if the 2 issues could be related. And if so is the issue likely the HFL draining the battery or is the weak battery preventing the HFL from functioning properly?

Hmmmm, On earlier versions of the HFL(around '06-'08) It was malfunctioning and causing a battery drain. Have not seen any issues on later versions, but anything is possible. You can have the vehicle checked for a draw....

Default Re: HFL and Battery

The battery died and I replaced it. It answered the question whether a dying battery would affect the HFL working correctly. The HFL still doesn't work at all.

Now my question is: Where is the HFL card located and where can I buy a replacement?
