I have Access to an RSX complete suspension... wheels brakes etc..

i'm wondering if the wheel bearing assembly would fit on EK control arms.. I lknow they use mcf struts.. but if the 5 lug assemly could be used (hubs etc)

any idea's or picks about this that would be usefull ? easy way for cheap ITR 5 lug....

I've seen this on an EK already down here... but have no idea how it's done... but it is possible.

 

you mean possibly a type-r 5 lug... but since the type-r 5 lug is the same spread as the rsx the hubs should be close (similar) if not the same thing as the type-r

that's why i'm curious....

 

Well, I've also seen an ITR with stock RSX wheels, but I don't know if he needed to replace the hub or just match the bolt pattern on the wheel...

i don't think it would work, or be worth it. u couldn't use the rsx front knuckle, or strut assembly, or the rear trailing arms. the only thing good out of that setup would be the wheels, hubs, calipers, rotors... and the last three items are assuming that they are somewhat interchangeable with 3g teg parts or 5g/6g civic parts. just get an ITR 5-lug conversion, and snag the rsx 5-lug wheels from your friend if you dig them.

 

basically i want a 5 lug i'm just wondering if they imported parts to the rsx which was orignally designed for the type-r ....

kinda like where the seats of a RSX fit into a 96-00 hatchback... weird but some parts are interchangeble in different years...

by the way RSX seats do fit in a civic but extensive framerail mods are necessary but after 3 hours.. of work it's amazing !! like sparco's or momo's but for a fraction of the price!1
