Strut Bar Suggestion For Front And Back
I'm a newbie to import cars so bear with me. I recently sold my 2003 Dodge Ram w/Hemi cause I needed to get something more fuel efficient. So I purchased a 1996 Honda Accord Sedan EX (w/vtec and leather) and I'm starting to build a list of things I need and would like to do to the car. Pretty much everything is stock so I'm starting from the bottom and working my way up. One big thing I need to do ASAP is figure out how to get the car to be more stable on the road. The shocks and springs are fairly new (2 years old) and the tires (there some cheap off brand that the dealership put on) are brand new. I would like to get a strut bar for the from and rear, but not sure if that would tighten up the stability. Any suggestions of brands for strut bars or what I should look into doing to get better stability quick....on a budget though :-(
On a stock suspension buying strut braces won't really do anything. The CD chassis Accords are by far one of the best vehicles handling wise I've ever driven. So something must be up.
One way I made my car handle a little better was by replacing the stock sway bar bushings out with Polyurethane bushings. I have a cheap strut bar on my car but idk if it even makes a difference.
Oh and getting a good set of tires definetely makes a big difference on how the car handles. I put some cheap tires on my car and handling was def. Affected vs my other set of tires.

Physics would dictate those generic flexible strut bars wouldn't do much, opposed to a solid one, better yet a 3 point bar. Some of them look pretty thin and poorly made. Seems more like engine bling when you don't get a solid one.
