This is going to sound dumb but... The other day I was putting groceries in my hatch via the third/trunk/hatch and it fell on my head. Man it hurt bad!

I bought a replacement air piston which helps to hold the trunk up but I don't even know where to start. I don't want to break anything either. Any clue? I'm hoping for the best since this car is 25 yrs old lol!
