Default 99 CRV starting problem

I have a 99 CRV. When I start up the car in the morning or after a couple of hours of not using it, I have let it idle for at least 15mins so that I will be able to put the car in Drive without it turning off. If I do not do that, as soon as I put the car in Drive the car has a rough idle and turns off. This starting happening a couple off months ago, but now it has become very bad. In these last couple of months I have been trying to fix the problem. I changed the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I also got a new distributer. I also did the timing belt and water ( because it needed it). I have a new air filter. New battery. I have also changed the fuel filter. None of these changes have made a difference, any suggestions?0

Only thing I can think of is a problem with the fast idle valve on the bottom of the throttle body. It works completely from coolant temperature and adds more air for the cold start idle.

Tight exhaust valves, and/or defective ignition switch. Check the valves first!! Most common!!

scan the vehicle to see if you get any codes from it. It could be coolant temp, throttle position sensor, map sensor, 02 sensor.

As said above, check the valve clearance. All too common.
