Default b series trans seizing crank??????!!!! HELP!!!!!

hey what sup. so i swapped 5th from my ls trans to my itr trans. put everything back together...got casing closed etc etc...1st time i put it together the input shaft would not spin my hand...it was stuck..so i took it all apart, messed with it a little then it would spin...put tranny on my motor went to spin the crank to TDC and seized up...wouldnt crank (no head on or anything...freshly built block)...take the tranny off the block and the crank spins freely....

so, pulled the trans off, changed the c-clip and bearing, put it all back together, input shaft on trans spun freely both directions and in gear and nutreal...put trans back onto block...crank spins like 180 rotation then seizes...

ANY idea what is going on here??? seems to be the trans since when its off the crank on motor spins freely.... do u maybe have a diagram of the correct direction of all the bearings/synchros/gears etc..??? im gettin super frustrated trying to get this damn car finished and running into this issue... maybe issues with the gear selectors? idk but i really hope u can help!!!!

thnx!!!

Pictures are worth a thousand words, remove the trans and ensure you put it back together correctly.

What exactly did you "check" the first time?

Removed the crank girdle and have found that when tightening the lower block to trans bolts that is when the crank "catches". If I losen those bolts then crank spins freely. So under further inspection when I tighten those 2 bolts the crank moves slightly and when I losen them it moves back. It's very minimal. Like maybe 1/16th of a inch but seems to be enough to (bind?) the crank??? Never seen this issue in my 10 years of working on Hondas. Any input/advice would be great!! Thnx
