Icon3 [3D files] Honda CRX front and rear big brakes

Hi guys,

I gave the information in my post but thought it will be a good opportunity to share it here with 'craftsmen' !!

For those who can machine and build parts here are some 3D files I've created myself for my own CRX upgrades :

1// Front 282mm big brakes with BREMBO 4 pots calipers - homemade alloy hats and NSX NA1 rotors

2// Rear CRX 260mm big brakes using a new plate and OEM calipers

The front kit is made for a knuckle equiped with OEM 240mm brakes.

You have to check for the plate installation on your rear arms because there is different 'phases' and in France, this fits only phase 1.

I let you guys double check if this is ok or not for your setups

Hi,

I must say I created the 3D files and the setup only for this combination of custom hats and rotors.

I don't know if it is possible to fit other rotors but those are the reference for Honda NSX NA1 from STOPTECH (with fully floating system).

This 282mm setup fits under my 15" OZ ultraleggera wheels (without spacers) but the clearance is tight.

Do the plates for the rear work on a rear disk setup? Using stock crx si calipers? Which rotors are used??

Pics of the rear setup please!

Yes this kit was built based on a rear 239mm crx DISK SETUP, and it allows you to re-use your stock calipers and keep using the HandBrake perfectly. I did this because I just fully rebuilded my calipers when I developped the kit .

I use European 260mm Honda civic EP discs. They have all same caracteristics as the original one except the new diameter ... perfect. You can usually compare sizes, holes, offset and so on when you order on a spare parts website. It's what I did.
