ive red the diy but the guy says use screws.
the holes are way bigger than regular screws what do i use to secure the door panel inserts back on?
i went to dumm lumber but couldnt find screws that would work

 

Look for bigger screws in your area. or get the measurements and order some online. Worst case scenario use the 3m adhesive and maybe a hot glue gun... be careful not to use to much glue through you do not want it showing through the inserts.

 

its the elbow rest. hot glue is not gonna hold it lol

 

A friend and I used a soldering gun and pieces of a cap made of plastic, think it was a cap to a brake cleaner.

We melted some of the plastic from the cap and the arm rest (where the old supports were) then proceeded to melt it together. While the plastic was still warm and "melty" we took a screw and a washer to seal the deal.

I don't know if this is what you were looking for but I hope it helps.

 

ye i could do that i was just thinking there was some kid of special screws that people are using since theres so many of them in the picture thread
