What kind of bolts??
I didnt get any with my exhaust. What kind should i use for the two parts that connect the straight pipe and the pipe right before the muffler? I am using regular bolts and a lock washer on them right now, what should i be using and where can i get them? Also, the nuts and bolts (with the springs) that connect the muffler to the piping wont tighten down all the way and there is a small gap no matter how tight i get them, yes, i do have the gasket in between the two. Im stuck and it sounds like crap please help me im so frusterated
The bolts to get would just be ones that would fit in the holes and a locking washer should keep it tight. The bolts with the spring conect the cat and the headers not the muffler. and they are not ment to tighten all the way they are suppose to have a little play. Also i think that there is some stuff you can buy to put between the different pipes that will make sure that it seels right and wont leak.
Just use some galvanized bolts and nuts with lock washers. I had to get some different bolts when I used to have my test pipe, just see what fits. You can use that liquid gasket crap, I dont really think is matters if you already have gastkets (I have used it but it sucks IMO).
