Default Running lean in cyl#1 ?(spark plug pics).

replaced my 99 dx's plugs today nothing out of the ordinary. Just wondering if cyl #1 had something going on in it(farthest right plug) or if this is normal for an older plug no clue how old they are lol.

d16y7,357,xxx KM's all stock.

Your #1 plug looks okay. I would be more concern with the one to the left of it(#2?). You can see the tip of the center electrode and how it has lost some material. That could just be for age or from running hotter(leaner).

I would do a quick compression check. Check your fuel pressure and maybe remove the fuel rail with injectors and crank the engine - just compare spraying patterns.

Maybe I'm crazy but the 3rd plug looks like a platinum plug and the others copper. Are they all the same part number on the side?

Yeah didn't even cross my mind. Check to see if they are all the same.

If not, and the engine is working fine, then I wouldn't worry about it. You can always do a quick compression and fuel pressure test just to see the current state of your engine.

first of all, the one plug is different, like already stated, and secondly, that plug that looks "lean" thats not from a lean cylinder, thats ash deposits from oil being burned in the chamber, judging by the k's you have on the engine, thats not so bad
