I am guessing that you are bored with your car, because you indicate at the bottom of your add that you will accept "No Trades".

If you trade, how long will it take you to decide that the EG Hatch is boring you, too?

Stick to your original plan and sell your car outright.

Thats the thing thou, its hard to sell a honda in hawaii, everyone is to broke to pay for a honda. I was hoping i could throw my rims on that car and sell it outright for 3800 . The fact that he is giving me 400 helps and i can sell my visors on the side.

that hatch at least has a VTEC engine...all tho it's a b16 your LS has more torque and can easily be made into a LSV. Just keep it ! I'll bet you've put more then 4.5K into it i'm not sure how much more expensive Honda's are there but that would fetch 3K here(Toronto) max.

Keep the Teg!! Your ride is so nice and clean man. I need to do some reading on the LS as well. I just bought a Teg with LS motor. The guy I bought it from made it lsvtec, from what he explained and did a good bit of engine upgrades. Real clean engine. I can post pics of it if you all would be interested in seeing it. Its real nice though. But I heard these engines (LS) are super quality engines and can take a beating! Need to do some reading on them, for sure!

(PS - Keep the Teg! Super-clean sedan you have there my man!)

^ LSV's are good "if" and only if they're done right, other wise they're ticking time bombs. dude keep that thing ! that hatch is ugly and I'm not a fan of either.

^ that probably applies to all engines man...LOL! If you don't do them right, they're all ticking time bombs.

You have any LS "time bomb" stories you could share?? Interested, honestly.

Thanks!

Wrong ecu, speedo didnt work, flat spot when accelerating in third gear all kinds of shiet. He offered to cough up more cash but it wasnt worth it. Thanks for all the nice comments and opinions.

I swear if i didnt know my hondas i wouldnt even had known all those problem on that eg, glad i have experience in the scene. And a member on this forum, alot of knowledge to be had from just reading articles asking questions and browsing the FAQ section.

Most people on CL looking to trade cars is hoping to unload a problem since they are too lazy to fix themselves, or can't afford it.

Glad you decided to keep your Teggy, I almost traded my DB for a prelude and I know whats wrong with my car and I don't know what all wrong with his. I didn't feel like taking in a car with potentially a million problems.

Trade my car for a 2000 civic, mainly for the fact that its more family oriented and they are really good on gas. Not to mention im a honda head, because they are reliable and built well with style and efficiency in mind.

Here she is

Automatic, y7 but i got some plans in mind for her

you do know an acura is a Honda right or did you mean just sticking to Honda's. better auto to manual it ! the y7 is slow on it's own I can only imagine auto :scared looks ok I have a 4dr 99 it's "meh" for daily driving. will probably throw a b20 with b16 trans in just for the fact I haul ppl in it on weekends.

Yeah of course in know honda and acura is the same. No nube here man lol. I was just putting my insight in how honda/acura builds good quality cars that last and thats why i chose getting a civic instead of going and changing car manudactures. So yes just sticking to hondas love them !!

Well i dont plan on swapping trans soon, the drives great and the trans is sharp too. Its just that point A-BCD egc car. Dont gottah worry bout speed bumps, driveways, and potholes much now. But yeah i miss the integras power, the y7 takes a while to get up and go but for the mpg you get im fine with it, it has a aem sri intake making driving it a bit more fun just cus it sounds cool lol.

Hows are b20 from crv mated with a 5 speed trans? I had friends saying ls motors are better and that b20 cant rev high?

redline for my b20 is 6.5k. It is my DD, so I dont beat on it anyways. I rarely go above 5k.

you just bolt it up it's a b-series engine so any 5MT b-series trans will work. you can rev an ls up to 7k that's the only diff really and it's a 84mm rather then 82 they both have the 89mm crank tho.
