clutch vibration?
When my car (96 ex) is cold I get a vibration while letting out the clutch, starting from a stop, and then into 2nd. I do not know the history of the clutch, but when I bought the car it was bone stock with 189k miles. I am sure it has been replaced sometime or another. As soon as the car warms up, the clutch is smooth as silk. Even if I just let it idle from cold until warm with no clutch use, it will shift smooth as silk first crack out of the driveway.
Any ideas?

189,000 really isn't much for a D-series clutch. I've pulled some at that mileage the looked new. I've seen some last till 300,000 miles.
That said unless it's really bothering you I'd just leave it alone. There's not really anything you can do besides pull it apart and look at it (and even then I doubt you'll see anything)

I would inspect the engine mounts for excessive compliance (movement) and the wheel end bushings (control arms both upper and lower) for excessive movement or tearing.
Does this occur under normal conditions, or are you racing?

D series clutch kits are dirt cheap. Take it out, cut or replace the flywheel..new clutch and bam. I have owned several ek's that had this when I bought them. Its too annoying to deal with, it should be smooth engagement.
