Okay I have a 95 accord lx I was wondering what engine would be the best to swap in(more power, easiest, more potential) I keep trying to decide what I want but I keep reading the specs and different motors and then Im back to square one. And do not say k20

 

Most H series are common swaps on these. Check the FAQ there are a few tutorials.

 

F22b2 and turbo.

Especially with that upwards mounted screamer pipe, I've scared a few Prius drivers over the summer.

 

I'm leaning between a h22 or f20b but I don't really understand the difference other than a slight advantage in tq to the h22. And I said b16 because I keep hearing that the b series more potential than the others. And lastly k series motors are overrated in my opinion

 

lol B series wouldn't even move an Accord. Why don't you swap in whatever makes you happy?

stick with the H, more engine parts for it than the F20b or u can go F22B1 and boost

1. HP goal
2. budget

Can't I just use h22 parts on the f20b. I read they are for the most part compatible. My hp goal is between 260-300.

 

There is no way you're getting there without a ton in engine parts or a turbo.

 

300whp N/A would require at least 12:1 compression, more than 2.2L displacement, (88/89mm pistons with a 100mm crank and custom rods). minimum 0.400" lift cams, custom exhaust and intake manifold. 300CFM+ head with larger valves, Individual throttles with a custom plenum would be a bonus. an upgraded fuel system, maybe dual stage fuel injection. Along with a good stand alone EMS with a good tuner and not to mention a talented engine builder.

300whp reliably boosted would require a complete bottom end rebuild with forged internals, get rid of the FRM sleeves. A well pieced together turbo system and exhaust. A good engine builder, quality EMS and a qualified tuner.

 

Ghost are you referring to the CRV F20B type (Similar to the H22) or to the F20B3 similar to the F22B2/3 as I though they could handle 350Hp+ on stock internals or the H22?

Is everything there? PS, alternator, AC, ABS ?

 

Sure looks that way....just under the air filter on the turbo it looks like the belt to the ac compressor along with one of the ac lines/hoses.

 

That turbo must be really tiny to fit under that hood though. I was planning on mounting mine this way, but it wouldn't clear the hood.

 

boost what you have or do a k24. k series is not overrated.

 

 

Ks can do 300hp na.....but itll take alotttttt of money lol...
