Hey guys, I cant make up my mind, I always wanted ITR interior, but i got a good deal from a friend for his S2000 Black leather seats, i do not mind at all modding the brackets so they fit in my EG, and they are the phattest seats I have ever seen and i could get ITR rear seats and there would be my combo. but what do you guys think, should i still get the ITR front and rear seats and sell the S2000's or should i keep them and just get the ITR rear ?

Leather is better.

 

Leather is good, unless your autoX'ing or road racing, your *** will slide all over the place, I learned that when I put GSR leather in my civic....it came out after the first weekend at the road course.

 

If the S2000 seats weren't leather I would go that way, but I would rather have cloth which is the same reason I gave my gsr leathers up. More upkeep with leather and somethings are hard to fight; cold weather, heat. Basically, make sure you keep the seats properly conditioned and clean and there shouldn't be much worry beyond that, besides pencils poking into the leather after class

 

i love my red leather s2k seats.. they are phat as hell.. but leather does have it downsides, i gotta clean them cause i noticed they need some attention..

 

go with the usdm itr seats...they will hold you better than the leather s2000 seats.

I personally hate leather.

 

Black JDM Recaro ITR's With USDM ITR rear seats. If it were me and you wanted the ITR rear seats. Or the RED JDM itr Recaro's and the Canadian ITR red rear seats.

s2k seats, ... have some, never regret them... but then i don't drive my civic everyday, but they do hug me very well when i do take her out.... just be ready to weld on some new mounts.... l8rz

the rsx-s seats are pretty nice too... they should fit the eg's easily, anybody try yet?

yeah if you like to take turns and only have a standard seatbelt, you are not going to like leather at all.

There will also come to a point where even ITR seats dont hold you in. I am at that point.

 

I ride in both..daily. I`d take the ITR seats.

I just put in the driver side S2000 and whoa what a difference compared to the teggie seat, your *** is in there.. and it seats you about 1-2 inches lower, but it curves well around the back area. definitely like em!!

 

yeah they seat pretty low, eh... sometimes i feel like i'm riding on the ground... how many bolts u fit in there? 3 rite? l8rz

i like the itr seats better. are they made of suede or something?? i dunno, they smell nice though.

not hard at all, 3 bolts go in with little work, the last one the hole goes way past the nut, so its basically cutting and rewelding involved there, not hard and definitely worth the effort and time.

 

yeah your rite.. i guess i'll start looking for GSR black leather rear seats.. whats up with the fitment issues, i always swore they plug & play, never noticed anything in anyones seats ive seen..

 

You'd be a fool not to take ITR alacantara suede seats. S2000 seats in anything other than an S2000 looks somewhat silly.
