Default Wheel sizing for track car help

Hi I need help for wheel and tire sizing for scca build I'm doing I have a 99 civic ek coupe with jus racing fenders I'm between 17" and 16" is a built toda motor for power plant also what tire size should I run thanks

well you better look at the rules , i know MOST classes have a aspect ratio/size limit per chassis ir engine modds. deff stay away from 17" wheels on that ek chassis it will limit "race" tires available.

^Exactly what he said. If you are building a car for a race series you should have read the rule book cover to cover before turning a single bolt on the car or buying a single part.

Beyond that, even if this is just an hpde car, I would stay with a 15" wheel. Aside from limiting your availability, price goes way up. Race cars are expensive enough without adding more cost for no good reason.
