Default 2014 Models that are interesting to you?

Talk about something new or redesigned that is coming out for MY2014 that you think is neat or cool.

Suzuki is bringing over (to the U.S.) their Burgman 200 scooter. I own a PCX150 so I was eyeing this, but I think it's a little too maxi-scooter for my tastes. I'd like something with a bit more top speed, but retain the mid size scooter size.

Did you see the Honda CTX1300? Basically a reskinned ST1300, I think, but its kind of cool, like a smaller Gold Wing.

I'll never drop the money on it, but the CB1000R is a pretty slick machine. Depends on your taste in bikes I suppose.

No changes with the CBR250R...unfortunately. I was hoping they would bump up 50cc so they could better compete with the Ninja 300.

Oh, did you see they're bringing back the Valkerie? Not that I want to buy one, but I had always wondered when they would do that. 1800 cc's isn't huge displacement these days for cruisers though.

2014 Tuono VR4 ABS... although, personally I would just get an unsold 2012 non abs unit and pocket the $

They never would bring back the VTR250 after it left the US market. I would LOVE to have one of the new ones.

I know this is an old post, but I saw a Honda Rune for for the first time Saturday on the street. I'm sitting there on a friend's Kawasaki Mean Streak thinking I looked like a badass and this rune pulls up alongside me and I was like . . . .

That thing is friggin HUGE!

It's not a 2014 model, but there are rumors of a new VFR800. I want more power though.

Looks like they are going to sell a new Interceptor for 2014. The price is way too much for me though, The VFR's have always been too high for me to jump on a new one. I got mine in a trade.

I agree... that classification of scooter is great. the dual purpose/adventure class should be explored more by new riders.

I know this is a pretty old post but they are bring the CBR300R out for 2015. I don't know if that means the 250 will dc'ed but that will be awesome.

I'm looking into get a bike and was debating between the cbr250r and the cbr500r. I think the 500r will be a little better for me as I'm a bigger so the extra little bit of power it has will be better for getting around.

This will be my first bike too.

250-300 cc's are pretty small for anyone over say... 150lbs.

speed is life in motorcycling and a 180lbs guy on a 250cc bike can be a bit of a sitting duck because of the power to weight ratio.

but it's a good place to start if you have limited skill sets.

I'll probably go with the CBR500R. I think that will be good for me.

Probably to stay competetive with Kawasucki because they bumped the EX250R up to 300.

They're early releasing the 2015 PCX 150 this summer. It's the same engine, but revised bodywork, LED lighting, better gauge cluster, and more.

I'd like to have one, but I think I'm going to run the one I have (2013 model) into the ground first.

It's almost the perfect scooter, IMO, could use just a tiny bit more displacement, maybe 30 cc's.

Yeah I know about this, but I want factory power with a warranty. I'm getting old and am not modding vehicles much anymore. I just want to drive them.
