1994 Accord EX No Spark!!!
I bought a 1994 Accord EX for 800 bucks. The car has 170K on the odo and has a rebuilt head on th F22B Vtec engine.I've already replaced the Cap,Rotor,Wires,Plugs,Batery,Terminals, and a new ground wire(grounded to engine block) since it was burned up Now the car initially fired up when I bought it after I put gas into it then died on me and I haven't been able to fire it up since. Now lets get into the weird stuff. I only get spark on 3 occasions. 1 of which is when I turn the car over and get off the starter. The second occasion is when ever the hell it decides to throw out a spark! I've taken the cap off and it throws a spark by itself without me turning the car over. The third occasion is when I pull the connector out with the ignition on. The check engine light stays on when I try to start it occasionally and the D4 light blinks every blue moon. I know I'd be taking you guys on a long ride but could somebody give me some insight on what I can do to solve this issue

Have you tried to get check engine light codes when it stays on? You will need to jump the two blue wire service conector under the glove compartment.
Also, can you hear the fuel pump come on when you move the key to on position. Don't start the car because you won't hear it.

I have not tried to check the codes. I was unaware I could do that. I'll try when I make it out to the car. Also, the fuel pump does prime and the spark plugs are getting fuel. So that isn't the problem.
Ok I'm going to jump the connector right now but I tried to crank the engine over it cranked but the check engine light came on along with the D4 light(continuously blinking). What could this mean? I think my problem is it the distributor. Maybe it got wet? It was raining a few days ago and I had the hood up so maybe some water passed by the gasket?
I believe the d4 is the check engine light version for the transmission. Something might be wrong with it.
The distributor has a module besides the rotor that might need checking.
I'll check mine this weekend, my 94 honda accord sometimes shuts down when idling.

Ok so I tested the green and yellow wire on the connector and it had a pulse(tested with multimeter) as I was turning the engine. so I went to autozone and replaced the ignitor and it did not solve the prodlem. I'm guessing I need an entire distributor. The inside looked as if it had water inside at one point. and the ignitor had a small amount of orange buildup on one side.
