Hey h-t I have a 93 civic hatch with a b18c1 swap. I ve had the car for about two years and the guy I got the car from had a ls-t and he radiator fan switch wire to run on at all times when driving. So I want to know how wire it back to stock and have the fan come on and off automatic.

I've search lots of info and only read where people just say wire it to a switch and flip on and off, I don't want that.

Can I wire the 2 wires from the fan to the thermostat switch directly? But I don't know if that'll work?

Sorry but I'm dumb when it comes to diagram lol, can u guide me what to do. I can read some diagram but some are just confusing please don't bash me cause I can't follow the diagram

 

Do you have the wiring from your thermostat fan switch already there and plugged in or is it cut?

 

It's probably jumped with a wire or paperclip

 

Yes I still have it uncut and plugged in.

If you unplug the fan switch on the thermostat housing, does the radiator fan stop running?

 

Never tried that ronj, the fan is not connected to the plug on the harness right now, cause I had problems it not working as it did.

But as of right now I had to straight wire it to the fuse panel underneath the driver side, cause when I did the swap and plugged the fan to the original plug on the harness the fan didn't turn on like it did when I first got the car ( fan runnin when key turned to second ignition switch ) so I cut the plug on the fan and straight wired it to come on as usual when I first got the car

I will resolder the plug on the fan and see what I can come up with. Can anybody tell me where the fan switch wire is running too? Is it running to underneath the driver side fuse panel or to the ecu?

 

The black wire from the switch goes to ground. Green wire goes to relay in the underhood fuse/relay box. You might want to check the slots for the relays if there is any sign that they put a jumper in there.

 

Ahhhh ok. So the wire color is green and black? My plug has a red and yellow wire. As I'm lookin I see the green and black wire that has been cut and taped. It looks like he cut the original plug and install another plug to make it run at all times.
