Default Speed sensor removal

I located the one tranny speed sensor:

What is the best way to remove it? The bolt comes right out but the sensor itself is in there good and tight. I don't want to bust the sensor trying to wrestle it out. Any suggestions?

If this is one of the NM/NC sensors on the right side cover then you will need to twist the sensor a bit to break it free of the O ring. Rotate it in a direction where the lip will overhang a bit to allow you to prise it up, gently, with a flat head screwdriver. Rotate the sensor while applying upward pressure. It will take a bit of effort to remove. Do not hammer, yank or use pliers on the housing as this can cause it damage or breakage.

+1. I just twist it back and forth with pulling outwards.

It really does help to actually know what kind of car we're talking about here.
