Default tierod end stuck !

Cliffs: messed up the thread banging it out of the knuckle, now I need to replace it only thing is the jamb nut is stuck and i've PB'd the **** out of it !. Any suggestions or just cut it off and replace the inner while i'm at it ? bellows boot has been ripped for a while thus the need to remove the end. I'm not being cheap I just don't have the tools to remove the inner...yet

Try a big adjustable wrench and a small pipe to break the nut loose, maybe even heating it up a little might help. Mine were a pain to break free and I was standing under the car.

You should have loosened the lock nut first before removing the joint from the knuckle. This way you don't have to worry about trying to counter your own force.

I'd put the joint back ino the knuckle, secure it just enough to take out any slop, make sure you're turning it righty loosey as if you're trying to separate the two on RH threads, and use heat/lube as necessary.

Oh, should be a 19mm and 22mm open ended wrench. There are also butterfly wrenches that may help if the end of the wrench is spreading open.

I've go it to where it's wedged in the knuckle(stay put) but it's still not budging I may go get a 22mm wrench all I've got at the moment is an adjustable one.

Heat it with a torch for a minute or so and try it again. Might help to give it a few taps with a dead blow hammer after its heated too.

I don't have an oxy torch and those little propane one's probably won't do any good, it's still stuck !. it' not like the car has rust even it's just the tierod jamb nut is seized. will my angle grinder idea work then just remove/replace in inner/outer one. I can't drive it to a garage in the snow/don't want to pay for a trailer.

Id give the propane torch a shot first before cutting it in half lol. But if you do cut them in half I dont see why that wouldn't work, it'd just be more labor.
