Default any recommendations for a/c friendly turbo kit

I been shopping for a reasonably price vortech or procharger supercharger and have decided price vs hp isn't worth the cost and decided to go turbo. ive shopped around looking at diff turbo kit and like to know what has someone else used and had great success with in fitment and hardware. I have my eye on the go autoworks tuner kit right now but im still open to others. I remember way back in 2005 sfp had a nice a/c compatiable manifold and I ran a lovefab b series way back in the day. it seems like its either log manifold or fancy ramhorns that turns into $4k+ kit I been shopping around like to stay $2600 max

A much better place to start to get into your budget.... Seriously.. See the build thread of this owner..

But you WILL get close to $3k-$4K for anything quality, and reliable. This lessens the sting a little, though

Even with used parts you'll spend over 2600 for an AC friendly kit

The most important parts are the manifold, down pipe and your turbo selection. Turbo size will dictate your limits as far as what will fit on the manifold. As some designs turn the compressor towards the block and others away from it

Engine management, fuel system, getting tuned etc will all add significant cost to your build. Something you cannot go without on a boosted motor

Plus you haven't said jack **** about a power goal, hell you haven't even told us what motor you're using, what supporting mods it already has on it, and so forth

So we can't give intelligent answers without that info

i was asking in general last time i had a honda with a turbo kit was back in 05. i bought a 99 si with a b16 to drive back and forth to work. id like to have something streetable a/c and p/s friendly that i can still manage high 20mpg. im only looking to make around 300whp or so. im not looking for a all out 600+ where i can barely drive it work. things have def change in years past. back then drag, sfp, fmax, and cody lovefab's manifolds made a/c friendly manifold/kits that where quality pieces and performed great
