Default 95 civic ex has fuel, spark, compression, and is in time but wont run

OK to start off I just bought a 95 civic ex not running but figured it would be a nice cheap work car being that my other vehicle is a diesel. This is my third civic and 4th Honda car so I'm not a noob. The car has good fuel pressure, good hot whiteish/blue spark, good compression (175-185),is in time both mechanically and ignition wise but won't start. It has me stumped and I'm not proud to say that. The only thing that I can say I have found wrong with it is that in the accessory key switch position it cycles the fuel pump and triggers dash lights like its in the on position. When you switch it to the on position it recycles the fuel pump and triggers SRS oil pressure, and cel again. There has got to be a mad scientist on here that can help me out. I have a new key switch on order and should be here by Monday. Thanks in advance.

Plug wires installed in wrong firing order?

Distributor installed 180-degrees out of phase?

I have checked, double checked, and even triple checked the plug wires and the dizzy can't be installed 180 out.

The car has not ran since I bought it. I've had it for about 2 weeks. Supposedly the woman that I bought it off of said it quit running while she was on the freeway back in September. Her boyfriend throes parts at it and had no luck. That's why they sold it

Yes and used a multi meter to check for voltage from negative battery post and engine block there was none, which verifies good grounds.

Checked all internal sensors, ICM, coil, rotor button, cap. Everything is good. I'm at a loss.

did you actually check compression, or are you guessing? if you have air, fuel, spark, and it still doesn't run, you have a mechanical problem. your not checking something right.

Do you want me to send you pictures of the compression gauge? I'm telling you. Pulled all plugs, put compression gauge in each cylinder at seperate times, held pedal at WOT AND CRANKED. I have no reason to lie I'm trying to get the car running I'm not going to mislead you. I'm no dumb#$*.

Not true, especially for aftermarket distributors.

Well if compression and timing are fine, you either don't have fuel or spark. Your not checking something right, otherwise the car would start.

How did you check spark? Seeing as the hole is filled with fuel, you have no spark, provided the timing and compression are good.

I picked up a spark tester from a local parts store after doubting the old ground the plug on the valve cover, cranks and watch method. Both proved to show good spark.

Well I switched 1-4 and 2-3 and it changed nothing that would be with the dizzy 180 out. This distributor is off center like the OEM distributor, with the slotted can and off center dizzy end it cannot be placed 180 out. I turned the crank to TDC on cylinder one and took the cap off and its pointing at number 1 plug wire.

I am going to pull the injectors out of the intake mani and see if they have a good spray pattern. Maybe the injectors are squirting and not misting the fuel keeping the spark from igniting the air/ fuel mixture. I will post back results after I get back to the car.

Again, this^ is NOT true for an aftermarket distributor, which can be installed 180-degrees out phase. You'll find many examples of this mistake on Honda forums. If you verified that your distributor is installed correctly, then the problem lies elsewhere.

Are the fuel injector clips installed in the correct firing order?

Check fuel quality! Make sure it's good clean gasoline! Spray starting fluid in the intake and see if she will fire
