Hi I own a 94 Acoord Ex, I just replaced the transmission on it. I started driving and noticed the spedometer isn't working then I drove for about 5 minutes then the d4 light started blinking. Then another minute or so went by then the CEL went on. What could this be? and is it ok for me to drive to work tomorrow? I drive about 40 miles.

 

under the glove box there is a blue connector.
use a paperclip, bend it where the paperclip can go from one connection to the other side of this connector. once you have this done, turn the ignition to on but dont crank the engine.
then count the blinks on the cluster on the D4.
it will give u long blinks first and these count as 10, 20, 30 etc and the short blinks are single numbers.
for example: long blink, long blink, short blink, short blink, short blink. this is error code 23
once you have the error code do a google search for accord tranny codes.

there is a list on here somewhere. i'm sure someone here can post it for you or u can use the search button and try to locate it.
