4th gear grind
Hello Honda tech!!!!!
Got quite a persistent problem with my ej8. she's a 96 dx 4dr auto 147x,xxx
Once the vehicle is warmed up during regular economy driving, the trans shifts into 4th gear the rpm's drop lower than usual and the is a light physical grind that can be felt and herd.But directly after the rpm's drop and the grind occurs the rpm's go right back to normal and she drives great. only happens in 4th at the start of the shift.
thought it was a torque converter but upgraded trans to ex auto (yayy still a slushbox but slightly better!!!) and also replaced torque converter and still the exact same problem.. any help is greatly appreciated honda tech.
