What's the purpose of this list? Putting your name on a list without spending any money doesn't mean much.

As for tuning the SOHC Civic, I'm honestly not sure why people bother. Want performance? Buy an Si. Want good gas mileage? Buy an LX/EX.

You wont regret getting the Flash Pro for your R18 if you have mods.I had it on my 8th gen with a K&N SRI and Vibrant catback and gained 17HP via edyno.

Even the Si is laughable when it comes to performance... Honda is WAY behind the times. They are just like iPhones...

I find it funny when people bitch about Honda being behind the times. When the 06-11 Si was out, people bitched about the lack of torque. Honda responded with the '12 Si. Now people are bitching about the low redline, among other things. No matter what they do, some Internet know-it-all will know better.

Coming from you, I don’t find that offensive at all. Almost every other platform has offered some type of forced induction these days let alone half the features inside. Have you even driven a 2012+ Si? I am assuming not - you change gears more than you drive as the powerband sucks.

I have not driven a '12+ Si. However, I've owned an '08 Si previously (for three years), and now an '09 Si. I'm not trying to offend, BTW. I'm just stating something I've noticed over the years.

I have a buddy with an '11 WRX. After driving his car, I have no regrets about picking an Si over a WRX. It's a sweet car and all, but it just doesn't do it for me.

Lol the amount of hate that comes towards the new si us funny a lot of ppl think the car completely sucks and their is nothing you can do with it lol you need to view acouple threads on a 9th gen forum to see what ground ppl are Acualy breaking with the new Si ... and I drove the K20 platform and hated the lack of tq love my 2012 and the fact that I don't have to drop 3 gears just to pass someone like you had to in the other si's and who the **** cares about the lower rev limit I'd personally rather not scream the Car to 9k

Count me in as wanting Hondata to do something for the '12+ R18z1. In manual transmission form, the R18z1 really doesn't run too bad. With a flash, I'd bet it would wake up a little.

'12 LX, 5MT

You're an idiot. Have you looked at the 0-60 times of the Si vs the "superior" competition? As well, does any other performance FWD car put a true mechanical LSD in their FWD models? The MS3 did, but it's gone now.

And not everyone wants freaking forced induction. OEM's put tiny turbos for low-end torque and almost every factory FI motor in that pricerange is a wheezing turd above 5500rpms. No thanks.

I am an idiot for stating my opinion? What does that make you - the dipshit of the century? I have driven other platforms as I am looking to get rid of my POS Si that had rocker failure at 5,500 dealer maintained miles. I already got rid of the Kraftwerks kit and full Skunk2 Exhaust - out of the question if the engine can't stay together N/A. It is funny you would even remotely mention keeping these turds N/A. I own one, I am not some *** speculating on what I am saying. Go lower your base model some more and put a sway bar on it so it helps you sleep better at night dreaming about affording a Si.

Mine as well. I have had new Si's for every model and run them all hard. This is the first one I had had an issue with and I pretty heavily modify every one of them engine and transmission wise. One of the pins stuck and wrecked most of #1 cylinder on the '13 with stock REV limit. Needless to say I am rather underwhelmed with Honda and think this will be my last one. Probably going to pick up a 2014 or '15 EVO when the time comes since I enjoy my fair share of AutoX. My built CRV kinda gave me the AWD bug...
