integra with a 3.2 vtec engine? this is a first for me!

I've seen them in civic's a few times, not a common swap at all on an integra. Bet the off the go torque is awesome in that did you get to drive it ?

 

no...I just saw it online. My wife has a TL with that engine. I can't imagine the torque it would have in an integra!

 

Yea I've seen them in integra online, I even seen a v8 with the carberuetor sticking out the hood on YouTube.

If I anyone ever did the 3.2l swap, I just wanted to know how difficult it is to install?

One of my friends did the J swap and he said it was about the same as any other swap just harder to find the parts when something didn't add up. His Integra had so much torque.

 

was it a tight fit? Any fabrications that need to b done to the frame to fit that big a** motor in?

 

it looks like a mighty tight fit!

 

i like that the hood closes at that setup, ground clearance with the oil pan is scary. i'd rather cut the hood out. there's a local guy that has a j32 in his 4 door integra. the swap is no different than in a 92-95 civic.

 

Nicely done swap, I love the fact that he/she kept power sterring and A/C.

 

Pretty sweet. Looks stock from the outside too. That I like.

 

A similar car was ebay'd earlier this year. Looked pretty cool, but you won't find me doing that any time soon.

 

J swaps are pretty cool. 3.2, 3.5l.

Rpm Systems in upstate NY does these swaps.

They're pretty neat, wiring is supposedly a pain, but looks worth it to me.

 

Only fear is that this might make the car handle like poo... otherwise love it!
