94 Accord LX Transmission Fluid Changing
Hey guys!
So, if any of you have an old Honda that has an Automatic Transmission and you have no idea what/when/where it had its transmission fluid last changed, but you feel the need to change the fluid then check this thread out. I will be using myself (well my car) as the guinea pig.
I am going to change my car's trans. fluid into Honda DW-1.
A few things to note:
- My car's transmission fluid is due for a change since my mechanic said it's dirty already (It's true, I've been looking at it and just denying the fact that it actually isn't that red anymore)
- Currently, my car shifts OKAY, it has a bit of slight jerking every now and then but I suspect that it's because of my trans. fluid being old and dirty. (Hopefully!)
- I do not know what is the current transmission fluid in my car.
- I almost used Lucas Oil, but decided that I'd rather just do a drain and refill.
- I am not doing the 3x method. Just doing it 1x for now.
- I have the non-Vtech but zippy F22B2
This is my car - http://imgur.com/a/84XaY it says it's an EX, but it's really an LX.
