the car that i picked up had the lines on the rack cut and the PS pump, i took the rack out to inspect due to play in the steering wheel that i narrowed down to the gear set in the rack, well i think. my buddy ended up making his own manual rack on his integra rack by cutting out the cylinder in the rack that pushes the fluid around and blocking off the lines. i tried to do the same on mine but cant figure out how to take the shaft and gears out. i will post pictures once i go back over there to show what im talking about. anyone ever have this issue? play in the rack it self?

 

iv tried it. cant get the rack gear dealy out. its like pressed in or something.
jus buy a manual rack...from me
