just curious I've by passed the heater and the fans just bring in hot engine bay air
plus this thing won't be seeing the streets just time attack events. I have no problem with removing the dash per say but my cars wiring was done by what appears to be a 12 year old
thx guys

If you don't mind pulling the dash why not do it and have all that extra space to work. Theres only one harness that comes out with the dash and it'll give you a chance to fix anything else that might be cut up behind there lol.
it's to the point where I'm scared to even trace wires lol will take pics i'm scared of snagging something and then having no idea where anything goes. There's loose wires everywhere and nothing is colour coded just black electrical taped.
Well the dash harness unclips from the fusebox with three plugs I think, I had to pull mine out last month to do some stuff.

Nothing should snag either, the harnesses under the dash doesn't move at all, and if anything the harness in the actual dash is easy to replace once its out of the car if thats the one thats cut up.

hmmm ok thought the steering colum had to be dropped, I have a quick release hub so wheel clearance isn't an issue. thx it's the one leading to the ignition/alarm/kill switch that doesn't work lol
You'll be ok lol, that stays plugged in and untouched. Its the three plugs at the top all the way to the left of the fuse box that get unplugged, the cable for the climate control, and the other little harness in the back of it for the climate control buttons.
