CRX Head Change
Im changing my Stock 88 CRX head to a v-tech head, my current block code is D15B2, what is the easiest and best 1.6 liter head i can fit, without change in distibutor?...and do i need to change some parts because of the v-tech??
ok first it is VTCE haha i mean VTEC got that not a phone VTEC.
the head does not make the displacment the block does.
this setup is called a mini-me. Do a search
get a 1.6L block or a d16a6 then put a VTEC got it VTEC head on it. d16y8 the better one of both VTEC heads.

for maxc gains you'll wanna switch from obd0 to obd1 or 2 depending on your head, because thats the best fuel management for when vtec engages...gotta keep it stoic you know
have fun wiring MPFI and OBD1 when you cant spell VTEC right doesnt sound like you have too much honda knowledge.
Anyho yes you can do it. it will bolt up. You run the SOHC VTEC engine in MPFI format using the p6 ecu or use the proper p28 ? (is it) ECU and convert for obd1 not that hard just needs to be done right and SHRINK WRAPPED
