What engine/transmission do I have?
I recently bought a 91 ef civic hatchback with 170,xxx. Its a Canadian model so it has a manual 5 speed (and its schnazzy Canadian red, don't cha know) but I can't find a specification for what its actually called. Also, after some research, I'm fairly sure I have a b15. But then I found b15A, b15b1...etc etc..throughly confusing. My question is, what is this transmission (5-speed; factory from Canada) called, and what engine do I have? (Or how do I identify it myself?)
Thanks

GSR short shifter

Easy way to check is to crawl under the passenger side and look just above where the driveshaft meets transmission. There'll be a circle with the transmission code.
