Del Sol of Death

This was at the national car show in New Zealand the past weekend...
turbo h22a methanol burning, dry sumpin del sol...
It attempted to run at the drag day that followed, but destroyed its driveshafts, which were already hybrid nsx/prelude gear. Either way, this thing was frickin mean...

it's dry sumped, so it's ok for it to be on it's side, right?? I don't see why that would matter for a d drag car. Maybe an auto-x car for lower center of gravity

Look how the motor is positioned in front of the tires. Probably did it to place as much weight as possible on the front of the car. With the motor laying down they can still fit the front end on...

The faster cars still use alot of oem parts, they work the best.

Kamin...it's a dry-sump engine...it's ok for it to be like that. look at the placement of the turbo and the way the piping bends...it seems to fit perfectly in the nose of the car. then again...it could be that they just loosened the piping around the intake manifold and let the turbo chill there.
