Looks like it's creeping above 16psi to have a torque curve like that.

no creep at all, my protection is set at 18 psi and ive never hit it, plus ive reviewed logs and it holds at 16 psi all day

So your saying between 5500 and 8500 its 16psi even and yet your torque curve increases 60ftlbs?

i will post a correct final C16 video and graph tomorrow once its done being tuned, so far 25 psi and nearly 600 whp and 400 wtq stopping ~8k because we were completely out of fuel

Im a GSC T1 owner myself. I'm just saying its completely abnormal for a Honda B series engine to increase in VE like that and create 60 more foot pounds of torque if manifold pressure is remaining constant. Unless there is something else at play like the timing advance is ideal only at redline but very soft in the mid range. The most logical answer is boost creep.

Im very curious now so any data you have would be appreciated.

If you don't mind me asking, what's your fuel base pressure set at?

TIA

It was probably 43psi. Im guessing his pump wasn't able to keep up in the upper rpm and psi was dropping up top.

You can see after 6k on the pump gas dyno graph that something happens...

from 5000-5500 you can see a rather steady power curve trend developing then suddenly at 6000rpm hp and tq start to creep up in a very jumpy fashion, which says to me it's a creep problem.

are you sure your log is accurate? what about you map sensor and boost gauge?

I'm gonna have to side with Muckman on this one

and it's wild just how laggy a topmount manifold will make even the smallest of turbos when compared to the same turbo on a manifold with shorter runners

I don't see why you guys are so focused on boost creep.... If the guy is happy so be it. Keeping the TQ lower at lower RPM prevents wheel spin on the street and can be adjusted through a PWM solenoid.

Spool isn't bad, makes 200TQ about 250RPM after my ram horn on a .63ar

Looks like the highest HP I've seen on a 5858 so far, great job!

um..yea..i really need a fuel pressure gauge, but i think its in that range, the

pump ran out on race gas tune around 600whp.

Not to shabby for stock lines, filter, fuel rail and FPR with just a drop in wally 255

Exactly, i love the powerband, wastegate (on pump) is open before 5k rpm and the 5858 is .82 A/R also, which could contribute to slower spool, but i love it up top

And *UPDATE*

i put in a walbro 460 today, still on 25 psi, we maxed out my ID1000's at around 640

whp and 410ish wtq, i dont have the actual graph yet, just video and pic of dyno

screen.

I plan to get some 2200's and try and push it a little further, but that may wait till

spring, my intercooler is beyond maxed out, (when i started this build, i was only

planning on 400whp range haha)

Dyno video

the gsc seems to get crazy powerband and no dip on the tourq curves. Nice and flat.

Rev higher next time.

yea, its nuts, i ran it on the street today, and i need to spend a lot more time setting boost by gear, i was spinning thru 4th on my 24.5 in slicks

i normally take it to 9k, but with my injectors maxed the tuner didnt want to go higher than 8500

Slicks wont work great on the street either. You need a radial tire
